DMCA Policy
1. Our Commitment
nori novels respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our community to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
2. Filing a Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or authorized agent and believe content on nori infringes your rights, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights owner or authorized agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The specific URL(s) of the material on nori you want removed.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.
3. Where to Send It
Email your notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Takedown". We aim to review valid notices promptly and will remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate.
4. Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. It must include your signature, identification of the removed material and its former location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was in error, along with your contact information and consent to jurisdiction.
5. Repeat Infringers
We may, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers.
6. A Note on Translations
Many works on nori are community translations of original novels. If you are the original author or rights holder and wish to have a translation removed, use the notice process above — we handle translation-related requests the same way.
